Instant Coconut burfi

Ingredients -
- Desiccated coconut – 150 gm
- Condensed milk – 200 gm
- Roohafza (or any flavored syrup) – 2 tbsp
- Silver vark (optional, for garnish)
- Ghee (for greasing the tray)
Method –
- Heat a pan on medium heat. Pour in 200 gm of condensed milk and add 150 gm of desiccated coconut. These are the core ingredients for this quick burfi.
- Mix the condensed milk and coconut well, ensuring there are no lumps. Stir continuously for about 2 minutes until the mixture thickens and combines into a dough-like consistency. Turn off the heat.
- To give your burfi a colorful two-layered look, separate the mixture into two equal parts. Place one part in a bowl and keep it aside for the white layer.
- In the remaining mixture in the pan, add 2 tablespoons of Roohafza (or any syrup of your choice). Stir it in until it’s evenly mixed.
- Grease a tray or any flat container with ghee. Spread the white (plain) portion of the mixture evenly in the tray using a spatula. Make sure the layer is smooth and even.
- Now, take the Roohafza-flavored mixture and spread it evenly over the white layer. Press it down gently to ensure both layers stick together.
- We can garnish the top with silver vark or sprinkle some chopped nuts like pistachios for a crunchy finish.
- Immediately cut the burfi into your desired shapes. You can go for squares, triangles, or even diamonds. No need to refrigerate, your Coconut Burfi is ready to enjoy in just minutes!
