Ingredients

  • Oats – 1 cup
  • Milk – 2 cup (or any plant-based milk like almond or soy)
  • Fox nuts (makhana) – ½ cup
  • Dates – ½ cup
  • Peanuts – 1 tbsp (or you can use almonds)
  • Cashews – 9
  • Cocoa powder – 3 tbsp
  • Banana – 1
  • Honey (to taste)

Method

  1. Firstly, take a pan, combine 1 cup of oats and 2 cups of milk. You can use regular milk or any plant-based milk if you prefer a vegan option.
  2. Next, add ½ cup of makhana, ½ cup of dates (these will sweeten your ice cream), 1 tablespoon of peanuts (or almonds), 9 cashews, and 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder to the pan.
  3. Mix everything well and cover the pan. Let this mixture soak for about 30 minutes. This step helps the oats and makhana absorb the milk and flavors.
  4. After soaking, place the pan on low heat. Cook the mixture for about 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally. You’ll notice it thickening as it cooks, which is exactly what we want.
  5. Once thickened, turn off the heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature.
  6. After it has cooled, transfer the mixture to a blender. Add 1 ripe banana, which will give your ice cream a creamy texture and natural sweetness.
  7. Now blend everything together until you have a thick and creamy consistency.
  8. Pour the blended mixture into a container.
  9. If you like, sprinkle some chocolate chips or a few black raisins on top for added flavor.
  10. Lastly, Cover the container and place it in the freezer for about 6 hours or until the ice cream is fully set.
  11. When you’re ready to enjoy your ice cream, take it out of the freezer. Scoop it into bowls and garnish with pomegranate seeds and some dry fruits for an extra touch of flavor.
  12. If you prefer a little sweetness, drizzle some honey on top.
  13. So guys must try this recipe you love it!
