Ingredients
  

For the Cheese Balls

  • 2 med Boiled potato (grated)
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup Processed cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp Red chili flakes
  • 1/4 tsp Mixed herbs
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 tbsp Finely chopped freshcoriander leaves

For the Coating

  • 1/2 cup All purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • Salt as per taste
  • Water, as required

For Frying

  • Oil, as required

Instructions
 

Prepare the Potato Mixture

  • In a largemixing bowl, combine the grated boiled potatoes, breadcrumbs, grated processedcheese, red chili powder, red chili flakes, mixed herbs, cornstarch, salt, andchopped coriander leaves.
  • Mix everythingwell until a soft dough forms.

Shape the Cheese Balls

  • Lightly greaseyour palms with oil.
  • Take a smallportion of the potato mixture and flatten it.
  • Place onemozzarella cheese in the center.
  • Seal the edgesand roll into a smooth ball.
  • Repeat with theremaining mixture.

Prepare the Batter

  • In anotherbowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, and salt.
  • Graduallyadd water while whisking to make a smooth, slightly thin batter.

Coat the Cheese Balls

  • Dip each cheeseball into the flour batter.
  • Lift with afork and allow excess batter to drip off.
  • Roll inbreadcrumbs until evenly coated
  • Forextra crispiness, repeat the batter and breadcrumb coating once more.

Lets Fry

  • Heat oil overmedium heat.
  • Carefully add afew cheese balls at a time.
  • Fry for 2–3minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove ontokitchen paper.
  • Serveimmediately.
