Gulkand Milkshake Recipe
A refreshingand creamy Gulkand Milkshake made with chilled milk, gulkand, rose syrup,vanilla ice cream, and soaked sabja seeds. This easy Indian summer drink isperfect for hot days and special occasions.

For the Milkshake
- 1 cup Chilled MIlk
- 5 scoops Vanilla ice cream
- 2 tsp Gulkand
- 2 tbsp Sabja seeds
- Ice cubes
For Garnishing
- Rose syrup, as needed
- Rose petals, optional
- Chopped cashews, optional
Add 1tablespoon sabja seeds to a bowl and soak them in enough water for 10–15minutes.
Once the sabja seeds have swollen and developed a translucent coating, drain the excess water and keep them aside.
Add 1 cup chilled milk to a blender jar.
Add 2teaspoons gulkand, 2 tablespoons rose syrup, 5 scoops vanilla ice cream, and afew ice cubes.
Blend everything until smooth and creamy.
Decorate the serving glasses with a little rose syrup.
Add the soaked sabja seeds to the glasses.
Pour the chilled gulkand milkshake into the prepared glasses.
Garnishwith rose syrup, rose petals, chopped cashews, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Serve immediately while chilled.
- Use chilled milk for the best taste and texture.
- Soak sabja seeds for at least 10–15 minutes before using.
- Gulkand and rose syrup are naturally sweet, so additional sugar may not be required.
- Vanilla ice cream is optional and can be skipped for a lighter version.
