Flaxseeds Ladoo -

Flaxseed ladoos are a perfect blend of health and taste. These energy-packed bites are made with the goodness of flaxseeds, known for their rich omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, and lignans, which contribute to heart health and overall wellness.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Flax seeds
  • 1 cup Wheat flour
  • 1 cup Clarified butter / Ghee
  • 1 & 1/2 cup Jaggeryor sugar           
  • 1/2 cup Cashews& Almonds   
  • 50 gm Dry Dates
  • 20 gm  Pistachios                         
  • 20 gm Edible gum                        
  • 5 - 6 nos Green Cardamom
  • 2 tbsp  Raisins                               

Instructions
 

  • 1. Put the alsi in a dry pan and roast it on medium flame. Alsi make twisting sound while getting roasted. Transfer it in a plate and allow to cool slightly.
    2. Now in the same pan slightly roast the cashews, almonds, pistachios and take it out in a separate bowl.
    3. Now grind it roasted flax seeds in a mixer, but do not over grind it. Keep aside
    4. Grind the roasted dry fruits and dry dates separately.
    5. In a pan heat 3 tbsp ghee and fry edible gum on low flame. The edible gum will rise up. Fry it until it turns brown and take it out in a separate plate. Cool completely, and crush slightly.
    6. Now roast the alsi powder in the left over ghee and roast it on a medium or low flame for 5 - 6 minutes.
    7. Transfer it in a bowl. Add cashews, almonds, pistachios powder, dates powder, raisin into it and keep aside.    
    8. In a pan heat 5 - 6 tbsp ghee. Add wheat flour and roast it until it turns brown and leaves the fragrance. Transfer to the same plate and allow to cool slightly.
    9. Add cardamom powder and mix it well
    10. Add leftover ghee. Add jaggery and mix it well.  Add water 2 tbsp. Stir the mixture till it becomes one thread consistency. Syrup is ready turn off the flame.
    11. Put the mixture into it and mix well
    12.Let the mixture cool down a little, start shaping it into ladoo.
    13. Alsi laddu / pinni is ready. Store the laddu in an air-tight container that can be consumed for over one month.
