- 2 tbsp Vanilla custard powder
- 1/2 ltr Milk
- 1/2 cup cold milk, for making the custard slurry
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- Kiwi chopped
- Grapes chopped
- Mango chopped
- Muskmelon chopped
- Apple chopped
- Pomegranate seeds
- Strawberries chopped
- Banana chopped
- Chikoo sapota, chopped
- Cashews chopped
- Dates finely chopped
Firstly, add 2 tbsp vanilla custard powder to cold milk and whisk until completely smooth and lump-free.
Now heat ½ liter milk in a large saucepan over medium heat and bring it to a boil.
After that add the 1/4 sugar sugar and stir until completely dissolved.
Lower the heat and slowly add the prepared custard slurry while continuously stirring.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the custard becomes smooth and creamy.
Turn off the heat and allow the custard to cool completely.
Refrigerate the custard until thoroughly chilled.
Once chilled, whisk the custard until smooth and creamy.
Prepare and chop the fruits into bite-sized pieces.
Add the chopped fruits, pomegranate seeds, cashews, and dates to the chilled custard.
Gently fold everything together without crushing the fruits.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Serve chilled in bowls or individual dessert glasses.
For fruit custard cake cups, place small pieces of leftover cake in serving glasses and top with the prepared fruit custard.
