Ingredients

  • Almonds – 4
  • Cashews – 4
  • Walnut – 2
  • Peanuts – 1 tbsp
  • Pumpkin seeds – ½ tbsp
  • Sunflower seeds – ½ tbsp
  • Black raisins – 10-12
  • Flax seeds – 1 tsp
  • Sesame seeds – 1 tsp
  • Poppy seeds – ½ tsp
  • Chia seeds – 1 tsp
  • Dried rose petals – 1 tsp
  • Dates – 2
  • Banana – 1
  • Milk or Coconut milk – ½ cup

Method

  1. Firstly, soak 4 almonds, 4 cashews, 2 walnuts, 1 tbsp peanuts, 1/2 tbsp pumpkin seeds, 1/2 tbsp sunflower seeds, 10 – 12 black raisins, 1 tsp flax seeds, 1 tsp sesame seeds, 1/2 tsp poppy seeds, 1 tsp chia seeds, 1 tsp dried rose petals and 2 dates (with seeds removed) in water for overnight.
  2. Next morning, drain the water and transfer the soaked mixture to a blender. Add 1 ripe banana and 1/2 cup of milk (or any plant based milk like coconut, almond or soy milk). Instead of milk you can also use water for a lighter option. 
  3. If you prefer a sweeter smoothie, you can add little honey or maple syrup.
  4. Blend everything until smooth. Pour into a glass, sprinkle some extra pumpkin seeds on top, and enjoy this healthy, delicious smoothie.

Tips 

  • You can swap ingredients like plant based milk or add extra fruits to your choice.
